I’m sure most people know Elsa as a Victoria’s Secret model, but she is so much more than just a model to me. When I think of a multi-hyphenate, jack of all trades, Elsa comes to mind in more ways than one. I think I was drawn to her for her love of interiors, fashion and overall impeccable style.
I’ve followed her journey for years and originally got inspired by her eclectic new york city apartment. While reading her Arch Digest article, I learned that she had designed it herself and was heavily inspired by vintage furniture, interior designers, and architects. I loved everything about her space and often used it as a reference when designing my Brooklyn apartment. As shown in the photos below, she added an array of pink elements, vintage furniture pieces, and the perfect mix of materials into her home.

She since moved out to Los Angeles (something I hope to do someday, shocking!) and purchased a Richard Neutra Mid-Century Modern home. I am still waiting for the day when she publishes an article featuring the renovations she did on this place.

In September 2022, Elsa launched her namesake fashion label: Helsa. As a long-time follower of hers, I was so excited that she was finally launching her own brand. Revolve Gallery launched in Hudson Yards and opened to the public during fashion week and featured an entire space full of Helsa products that you could try-on IRL. After following her interiors journey, her brand felt like the perfect embodiment of her style, and it was so cool to experience in real life right after the launch. I felt like I had to buy something to commemorate the occasion, so I opted for this green jersey maxi dress that has a gorgeous silhouette.

Elsa’s Brand Collabs
Elsa has done an array of brand collaborations with home and fashion brands, that have easily made me want to purchase every item. If you put them all in a room together, somehow they would just make sense.
Business & Pleasure Co. x Elsa Hosk - Seeing this collaboration really made me wish I had an outdoor space to put this furniture in. The mid-century modern inspiration, color palette, and curvy elements feel SO me. If you don’t have an outdoor space like me, you can still get a piece of the collab in the form of a beach towel, tote bag, or cooler. I want to buy them but honestly do not visit the beach enough to justify finding a place to store them in my small apartment :(

Beis x Elsa Hosk - Beis is a brand that I have come to love in the past few months. This collab is from back in 2022 and was specifically a baby bag collection, so I had no real use for it but admired it from afar.. You can now find some of the items on resale sites like Poshmark!
Heavy Manners x Elsa - A swimwear capsule that Elsa coined as one of her favorite collabs to date. As someone who lived in swimwear this was an organic collab for her and makes total sense. A lot of the styles are currently half off, and now I want to buy a suit for my trip to Hawaii next year :)

Christopher Cloos x Elsa Hosk - Two words - Biodegradable. Sunglasses. And you guessed it, they are vintage inspired! This collab was from 2022 but you can still find these timeless sunglasses online, and now I want a pair.

Elsa recently launched her own website where you can find her latest Helsa drops, her current wishlist (so chic, and ), and sign up for her newsletter. I am obviously a huge fan and am buying whatever she’s selling.. including her latest OFFICE Helsa drop. I saw this TikTok talking about the drop and couldn’t help but laugh.

Paperbag Pant in Cacao - I never thought I would want to wear something called a paperbag, yet here I am. The chocolate brown had me hooked at first glance.. I think I need these.
Recycled Twill S Curve Jacket - This blazer will make you look snatched! I am obsessed, and want the matching skirt.
Classic Oversized Trench in Olive - I love a floor length trench, and this one is absolutely perfect for Fall. I love the subtle olive colour and perfectly oversized fit. A trench can’t get more stylish than this.
Alva Turtleneck in White & Black Stripe - This is a staple piece you can throw on with almost anything and dress it up or down, and it looks so. cozy!
Sanna Cardigan in Medium Taupe - My ultimate Khaite Scarlet Cashmere Sweater Dupe - and I have spent a lot of time looking! Still on the pricier side, but looks so good and comes in five different colors. I think I need to add this to my closet this fall/winter.
I hope you liked the first muse to be highlighted in le moderne museletter 💌
