New York City is in bloom! We are officially in the most indecisive season for weather. Should I swap out my sweaters for my spring/summer wardrobe that has been eagerly waiting to escape from under my bed?! Only time will tell..
SoHo - Café King is back at King! Starting April 7th they’ll be offering grab-and-go breakfast Tuesday - Sunday from 8am-12pm!
NoHo - Hani’s Bakery donut of the month is SALTED KEY LIME PIE and I can confirm it’s amazing and you need to try it while it’s available: every Saturday & Sunday in April starting at 10am.
Flatiron - WatchHouse, originally from London recently opened a new nyc location on Park Ave South between 22nd and 23rd. I’m excited to visit!
Prospect Heights - Another LA transplant has landed in New York City - Canyon Coffee, originally from Echo Park and has been commanding a line since opening on March 19th! They are open every day from 7am-5pm and serve Kettl matcha and Elbow Bakery pastries.
Little Italy - Gone are the days when you couldn’t find a good slice in Little Italy - it was previously Ceres before they switched over to whole pies and stopped serving slices (lol). Thankfully, L’Industrie (my favorite slice in the city) has opened a new and large location in Little Italy.
NoHo - Go Greek Yogurt is officially opening on Sunday, April 12th at 12pm and the first 100 people get free FROYO!
Williamsburg - BonBon Soft Serve is back at 705 Driggs Ave every day from 10am - midnight!
Two Bridges - The owner’s behind Corima and Vato recently debuted Bar Chucho, a cocktail bar only a couple blocks away from Corima in Two Bridges. The menu includes a bone marrow burger and mushroom gringa with flour tortillas from Vato!
Lower East Side - Ms. Alice just opened this past weekend and is the LES’s chicest new cocktail bar. I stopped in on my way up to the Daintree rooftop with an absolutely stunning view of Manhattan and currently in its soft opening phase before their full debut this Spring.
Cocktail Omakase - A new 12-seat cocktail experience with four Tokyo-style cocktails served with small bites. They are open Wednesday-Monday with seatings starting at 6:00pm. They are fully booked for April, but you can book for May here.
SoHo - The team behind King just opened a new English Pub joint, Dean’s. They are currently serving dinner from 4pm-10:30pm Tuesday-Sunday and will start offering lunch soon Friday-Sunday 12pm-3pm! Most of their tables are held for walk-ins, but you can book a reservation here.
West Village - Yesterday’s, a new neighborhood cocktail bar and restaurant is opening this Friday, April 10th! They will also be 23+ on Fridays and Saturdays 👀
Union Square - Guardian at the W is Union Square’s first rooftop bar atop the W Union Square and looks absolutely gorgeous! You can make reservations here.
Upper East Side - The opening I am most excited about due to its rich design history, Marcel is an new restaurant opening on Thursday, April 16th inside the iconic Breuer building at 945 Madison Ave. Formerly the Whitney Museum, the building is now home to Sotheby’s and is likely going to be as bougie as it sounds. Renowned design firm Roman & Williams designed the space and worked with their Parisian La Mercerie chef on Marcel’s menu. Similarly to La Mercerie, everything you see on the table, you can purchase and take home! Book a table here!
Williamsburg - Balera, a new Roman-style pizzeria ristorante opened at the end of March and looks delicious! They are currently open Wednesday-Sunday and you can book a table here.
Carroll Gardens - Bar Ferdinando opens on Wednesday, April 15th in a 121 old bar and café restored by the owner of Café Spaghetti, Swoony’s and Sal Tang: Sal Lamboglia.
Chinatown - Abbode is hosting a sample sale on April 11th & 12th from 11am-6pm at 108 Madison Street.
Nolita, Ace Hotel NoMad, Chelsea - Isshiki Matcha has some exciting spring specials including my new favorite, the lucky mandarin cloud matcha! They also have a special going through April 12th in collaboration with Cliganic at their Nolita location! 💻
Nolita - Loeffler Randall x Little White Looks is hosting an bridal shopping event on Wednesday, April 15th from 6-8pm.
Only Hearts 1978 is hosting a sample sale with up to 80% off storewide April 10th-12th from 11am-7pm.
SoHo - Asta Resort is hosting a sample sale from April 8th-12th at 199 Lafayette Street including one-of-a-kind pieces and your favorite sequins 💅🏻
Nomad - Jenny Walton will be hosting her first book signing for Jenny Sais Quoi at Rizzoli on Wednesday, April 29th!!! Reserve a spot here!
Hudson Yards - ICON Linda Fargo is hosting a loved but letting go closet sale on April 24th & 25th from 10:30am - 5:00pm!
Upper East Side - Visit one of the Frick’s three Gardens to see their magnolias in full bloom!
